Why this site ?

TO OFFER A LARGE DATABASE ON PICTORIAL ART AND THE BIBLE

We offer here probably the largest database that exists on the internet on pictorial art and the Bible (See above "First Testament"  and  "Jesus-Christ and the New Testament"). There is also a database of general images. . This site is cultural and non profit .


A NEW APP0ROCHE OF RELIGION
With the advent of globalization and respect for identity, a new approach to religion is possible.

In particular the major religious texts of humanity used for internal use can be read as literary texts to everyone. (Quran, Bible, Vedas etc.) and everyone can enjoy them freely.

It is even said religious art inspired by these great works.

This site exists for 10 years is of interest to teachers of art history and religion.

I would like to exress my gratitude to the pastors Jérôme Cottin ( Protestantism and image) and Michel Bertrand (Founder of Théovie  )who  encouraged me in this way and without whom this site would not have happened around 1998.
